EES contract signing information (Campus)

Palacký University became a member of CAMPUS agreement license program on 1.1.2012, by signing Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) contract, thus UP became a member of Campus program of the Microsoft Corporation. This license program enables universities to purchase licenses, which are available to use on all computers and laptops of the UP, at the lowest price level possible.

EES contract is valid for three years, after this time period expires, the contract can be renewed for another three years. If the contract is not renewed, UP can repurchase these licenses.

However, the contract was renewed for next three years in 2015.

University purchases the basic “Desktop Agreement” license, which includes following products (including new versions) for the duration of the contract with Microsoft: 

• Windows upgrade – OS upgrade package of desktop OS (requires underlying OS license, e.g. OEM)
• Microsoft Office Professional Plus, Office for Mac Standard – current version of the office package
• Windows Server User CAL – user access license to current version of Windows Server
• Exchange Server Standard User CAL – user access license to current version of Exchange Server
• Office SharePoint Standard User CAL – user access license to current version of Office SharePoint Server
• System Center Configuration Client Management CAL – license for central automatized computer administration using current version of System Center Configuration Manager
• Antivirus protection for desktop computers and laptops.
